Embroidery can often be seen as a bit old fashioned, but took a walk out into the beautiful expanse of desert grasslands in Cottonwood Arizona to bring you my take on the current trend. As always, black is the new black and mixing textures adds interest. This incredibly detailed dress (under $40!) has a free waistline, so I belted it to give it shape. The pleats give it so much flounce once cinched – it’s really a great piece. My favorite & most comfortable black over the knee boots this season is the ‘Alinda’ boots (here). I actually got rid of all my others once I purchased these because I just knew I would never wear the others ever again since these were so fantastic and comfy!
